Description
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and providing valuable insights to support the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
• VAT preparation and filing
• Dealing with suppliers
• Posting daily transaction
• Process bank deposits.
• Reconcile financial statements and daily company transactions.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, debit notes, and other necessary documents.
• Managing payroll
• Posting and paying online
• Contact clients and send statements of accounts at the beginning of each month, and follow up for timely payments.
• Ensure daily transactions are entered and recorded in the system, maintaining the general ledger (GL) and accruals recording.
• Report the accounts payable and receivable status in the system on updated tracks.
• Perform bookkeeping, cashiering, and financial administrative documentation.
• Ensure accurate documentation and labeling of orders.
• Provide administrative assistance to the operations team as needed.
• Ensure the office is always presentable and meets corporate standards.
• Maintain a professional filing system, ensuring all documents are organized and filed properly.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a general accountant, preferably within the medical industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounts, preferably in the medical sector.
- degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- computer skills preferably in Microsoft Outlook, Odoo
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Valid work visa
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
