Description

A leading financial service provider in the region is seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Manager to join the firm.

Job Description:

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Set policies and processes
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular reports for upper management
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Requirements:

- Bachelor's /Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within an accounting firm or in a VAT-focused role.
- In-depth knowledge of VAT regulations and accounting standards (IFRS)
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, Zoho, or similar) and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Valid Bahraini Driving License (Highly Desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
