Description
Job Summary:
The GM Office Assistant provides administrative and secretarial support to the General Manager and ensures smooth coordination of daily office operations. The role requires professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent organizational skills to assist in the efficient management of hotel activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the General Manager in daily administrative tasks and scheduling.
• Manage phone calls, correspondence, and appointments for the GM.
• Prepare letters, reports, and presentations as requested.
• Maintain filing systems, confidential records, and office documents.
• Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Handle guest complaints or VIP requests referred by the GM.
• Liaise with department heads for reports, updates, and communication flow.
• Support the GM in preparing monthly and annual performance reports.
• Organize travel arrangements, hotel bookings, and event schedules.
• Ensure a professional and welcoming environment in the GM’s office.
Requirement
Details
Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related field
Experience
2–4 years of experience as an executive secretary, admin assistant, or coordinator (hotel background preferred)
Languages
Fluent in English (Arabic or other languages is an advantage)
Skills
Excellent communication, computer literacy (MS Office), time management, multitasking, and confidentiality
Personality
Professional, well-organized, proactive, and discreet
