Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and certified Boom Truck & Heavy Trailer Driver to handle the transport, loading, unloading, and site handling of heavy construction materials, machinery, and structural components.

You will be responsible for safely operating flatbed trailers, lowbed trailers, and truck-mounted hydraulic cranes (boom trucks) both on public roads and within active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation: Safely drive heavy flatbed/lowbed trailers and boom trucks to haul structural steel, piling equipment, rebar, and project materials across project locations.
Crane & Material Handling: Operate the truck-mounted boom crane to load, unload, and position equipment and materials on-site according to supervisor instructions.
Load Rigging & Securing: Ensure all loads are correctly balanced, lashed, and secured using chains, binders, ratchets, and straps to meet heavy transport safety regulations.
Pre & Post-Trip Inspections: Perform daily vehicle and boom inspections, checking fluid levels, tire pressures, hydraulic lines, outriggers, and brake systems before operation.
Site Set-Up: Position the boom truck on stable ground, deploy outriggers/stabilizers correctly, and inspect ground conditions prior to lifting tasks.
Logbooks & Compliance: Maintain driver logs, haulage manifests, delivery tickets, and strictly adhere to highway traffic laws, speed limits, and site safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating both heavy transport trailers and boom trucks (truck-mounted cranes) on construction or infrastructure sites.
Licensing: Valid Heavy Equipment / Heavy Transport Driver's License and certified Boom Truck Operator card/certificate.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of boom load charts, outrigger setup, rigging gear inspection, and trailer load distribution.
Physical Capability: High physical stamina, ability to perform long-distance driving and manual load securing under outdoor site conditions.
Safety: Clean driving record and solid knowledge of transport load-securing standards and lifting safety regulations.
