Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, skilled, and hygienic House Cook to prepare high-quality, healthy, and delicious meals for a private family in Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in a professional restaurant, hotel kitchen, or reputable private household, with excellent knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness.

The candidate should be capable of preparing a variety of dishes according to the family's preferences while maintaining restaurant-standard hygiene and food quality.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Cooking & Food Preparation

Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and beverages as required.

Cook a variety of dishes, including Arabic, Indian, Continental, and other international cuisines.

Prepare healthy, balanced, and nutritious meals according to family preferences.

Plan daily and weekly menus in coordination with the family.

Prepare special meals for guests, family gatherings, and occasions.

Maintain consistent taste, presentation, and food quality.

Follow specific dietary requirements and cooking instructions.

B. Kitchen Hygiene & Food Safety

Maintain excellent personal hygiene and cleanliness at all times.

Follow professional restaurant-standard food safety and hygiene practices.

Ensure proper washing, cleaning, and sanitizing of kitchen equipment, utensils, and working surfaces.

Store raw and cooked food separately to prevent cross-contamination.

Maintain proper refrigerator and freezer temperatures.

Check food expiry dates and ensure safe food storage.

Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) principles for food stock.

Wear clean uniforms, aprons, and appropriate protective clothing.

Maintain a clean, organized, and pest-free kitchen environment.

Follow HACCP principles and safe food-handling practices.
