Job Summary
The Inventory Controller is responsible for managing stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records, and supporting daily warehouse or store operations. The role involves receiving, storing, tracking, and issuing goods while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records (manual or system-based)
Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and materials
Organize and store inventory in designated locations
Conduct regular stock counts (daily, weekly, monthly)
Identify discrepancies and report shortages or damages
Prepare and issue materials as per requests
Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions
Coordinate with purchasing and operations teams for stock replenishment
Ensure cleanliness and organization of storage areas
Follow company policies and safety procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma/Degree preferred)
Basic knowledge of inventory management systems or ERP software
Good organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills (Excel, data entry)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience
1–2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or storekeeping (preferred)
