Description

We are looking for a Junior or Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team at a well-established interior fit-out company. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily accounting operations with a focus on purchases and supplier coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and record purchase orders and supplier invoices
Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, deliveries, and payments
Maintain accurate records of purchases and vendor accounts
Monitor and reconcile supplier statements
Assist with cost control and budgeting related to project purchases
Support the finance team with data entry and basic reporting tasks
Maintain proper documentation for audit and internal control purposes

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1–2years of relevant experience (interior fit-out industry is a plus)
Familiarity with accounting software ( Tally)
Good understanding of purchase cycles and supplier coordination
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic financial reporting
Fluent in English

Preferred Skills:

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and negotiation skills with suppliers
Basic knowledge of VAT and Bahrain accounting standards
