Description
Role Summary:
The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting precise land, topographic, and boundary surveys to support project planning and execution. This includes collecting accurate survey data, preparing technical drawings, and collaborating with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct land, topographic, and boundary surveys using modern surveying instruments and technology.
Collect, analyze, and interpret survey data to produce accurate maps, plans, and technical reports.
Establish reference points, benchmarks, and elevations to support construction and fit-out projects.
Ensure surveys comply with legal requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, and contractors to provide survey information for project planning and execution.
Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment and instruments.
Prepare survey drawings, documentation, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Advise project teams on land, boundary, and topographic constraints relevant to construction or fit-out works.
Support resolving any property or site-related disputes through accurate survey data.
Identify and implement process improvements for surveying accuracy and efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Land Surveyor, preferably in construction, fit out, or infrastructure projects.
Proficient with surveying instruments and software.
Strong knowledge of surveying standards, topography, and boundary regulations.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in the field and meet project deadlines.
