Description
Job Responsibilities:
Assist Land Surveyors in conducting field surveys for construction, engineering, and land development projects.
Help operate and maintain surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
Carry and set up equipment, including tripods, prisms, and rods, as needed for fieldwork.
Mark boundaries, points, and reference lines under the direction of the surveyor.
Record measurements and field notes accurately.
Assist in collecting topographic, boundary, and elevation data.
Support in downloading and organizing survey data for processing.
Ensure the proper care, transport, and calibration of surveying instruments.
Maintain field supplies and equipment inventory.
Follow safety procedures and company protocols while working on-site.
Collaborate closely with surveyors, engineers, and construction teams.
Perform other field duties as assigned to support the surveying team.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Technical Certificate in a related field (e.g., construction, surveying, or civil works).
1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred (freshers with strong interest in surveying may also apply).
Basic understanding of land surveying principles and techniques.
Familiarity with surveying tools and equipment is an advantage.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in surveying.
