Job Description:
As a Landscape Supervisor for Karma Agricultural Projects, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and management of landscape projects across Karma Agricultural's.
Working closely with our team of landscape designers, technicians, and agricultural experts, you will ensure that our landscapes reflect the principles of sustainability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Design: Collaborate with landscape designers, agronomists, and farm managers to develop landscape plans that enhance the beauty, biodiversity, and functionality of Karma Agricultural.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of landscape technicians and laborers, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure the successful implementation of landscape projects according to specifications and timelines.
3. Sustainable Practices: Implement sustainable landscaping practices, such as water-efficient irrigation systems, native plantings, soil conservation measures, and integrated pest management strategies, to minimize environmental impact and promote ecosystem health.
4. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that landscape installations meet Landscape Company's standards of excellence, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
5. Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity, control costs, and minimize waste throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with Karma Agricultural stakeholders, including farm managers, project managers, and other team members, to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
7. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance measures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in landscape construction, installation, or management, preferably in an agricultural or rural setting.
• Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, horticulture, irrigation systems, and sustainable land management practices.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and excellence.
• Passion for sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, and creating landscapes that enrich the natural environment.
