About the Role:

We are seeking a professional, warm, and structured Live-Out Governess / Tutor to support two boys (ages 9 and 4) after school. This role combines academic support, childcare, and positive behavioral guidance, creating a balanced and enriching afternoon routine.

The ideal candidate will help the children transition smoothly from school to evening while supporting their learning, curiosity, emotional development, and daily structure.

Educational Context:

Cambridge Curriculum (primary level)

Montessori Program (early childhood)

The governess should be comfortable supporting homework, reinforcing school learning, and encouraging curiosity through reading, structured play, and educational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1- After-School Routine

School pickup and supervision after school

Structuring the afternoon routine from school return to bedtime

Coordinating snack and meal times in collaboration with the housemaid

2- Education & Homework

Support homework completion and academic organization

Reinforce school learning and reading habits

Encourage curiosity through educational activities and reading

3- Enrichment & Development

Organize engaging educational play and learning activities

Encourage reading, storytelling, and constructive play

Guide the children in manners, respectful communication, and independence

4- Sports & Activities

Coordinate the children’s sports and extracurricular schedules

Accompany the children to sports practices or activities when required

5- Evening Routine

Guide the children through wind-down and bedtime preparation

Maintain a calm, structured environment in the evenings

6- Communication & Coordination

Maintain clear, concise, and thoughtful communication with parents

Coordinate when necessary with school teachers or administrators

Provide regular updates on homework, routines, and development

Ideal Candidate
