Job Requirements

The candidate must have strong practical experience in the following areas:

- Welding, grinding, and metal fabrication works
- Operation and maintenance of lathe machines and complete knowledge of lathe machine tools
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of screw-type air compressors
- Experience with rotary valves and double-trickle conveying/feed systems
- Mechanical servicing, overhaul, and maintenance of industrial motors
- Motor alignment using proper alignment techniques
- Dynamic and static balancing of rotating equipment
- Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gear systems and gearboxes
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial mechanical equipment
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and perform workshop fabrication activities
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
- Minimum 5 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently and within a maintenance team
- Commitment to safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

- Carry out maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment.
- Perform welding, fabrication, grinding, and workshop activities.
- Service and maintain air compressors, motors, gear systems, rotary valves, and related equipment.
- Conduct machine alignment and balancing activities.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective corrective actions.
- Ensure smooth operation and reliability of plant equipment.
