Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Technicians to support mechanical installation and erection activities on the SASREF project.

Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with compressors and rotating machinery, particularly precision alignment, leveling, torquing and bolting.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical installation and erection activities for compressors and rotating equipment.
• Perform precision alignment and leveling of rotating machinery using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Carry out mechanical assembly, torquing and bolting activities.
• Assist with installation, dismantling and adjustment of mechanical equipment as required.
• Follow approved drawings, procedures and technical instructions.
• Support the Mechanical Supervisor during installation and alignment activities.
• Identify and report technical or installation issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure tools and equipment are used correctly and safely.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe working practices.
• Support inspection and completion activities as required.
• Comply with SASREF/project site requirements and HSE procedures.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Fitter in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, refinery or similar industrial projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with compressors and rotating equipment.
• Practical experience in precision alignment and leveling.
• Experience with torquing and bolting.
• Experience in mechanical installation and erection activities.
• Ability to work Day/Night shifts.
• Immediate availability / short-notice joining preferred.
• Willingness to accept a 1–2 week project-based assignment.
