We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise Network Security & Infrastructure Optimization Project in Riyadh.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in enterprise firewall administration, network security, IP networking, troubleshooting, and infrastructure optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, optimize and rationalize enterprise firewall security policies
• Review firewall rules, objects, NAT policies and security configurations
• Identify unused, redundant and obsolete security rules
• Support network security migration and optimization activities
• Analyze traffic/hit data and validate rules with application and infrastructure owners
• Participate in controlled implementation through formal Change Request (CRQ) processes
• Support network segmentation, IP migration and security standardization
• Troubleshoot complex network connectivity and security issues
• Prepare technical documentation, implementation plans and rollback procedures
• Coordinate with Network Operations, Security, Infrastructure and Application teams

Technical Experience

Strong knowledge of Palo Alto Networks is highly preferred, along with experience in one or more of:

• Palo Alto Networks
• Fortinet FortiGate
• Cisco ASA / Firepower
• Check Point
• Juniper SRX

Good understanding of:

• Firewall policies and security zones
• NAT / PAT
• VPN technologies
• Routing & switching
• TCP/IP and OSI model
• VLANs and network segmentation
• Subnetting and IP addressing
• Public & private IP ranges
• IP schema and network standardization
• DNS and DHCP
• MPLS and enterprise connectivity
• Network troubleshooting and packet analysis
• Network monitoring and log analysis

Experience with tools such as **Panorama, Splunk, SolarWinds or similar enterprise monitoring/security platforms** will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of enterprise network/security experience
• Strong hands-on firewall administration and troubleshooting experience
• Experience in large enterprise or data center environments
• Understanding of application dependencies and traffic flows
• Experience working under formal change-management processes
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Good communication and stakeholder-management abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams
