Description

Mahfar Trading Company WLL is seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our team as an Office Assistant. This position is crucial to the smooth operation of our startup, involving a wide range of tasks essential to our day-to-day business functions.
Responsibilities:
1. Quotations and Invoicing: Assist in preparing quotations for potential clients and generating invoices for completed transactions.
2. Documentation: Prepare delivery notes and ensure accurate record-keeping of all transactions.
3. Bookkeeping: Assist in maintaining financial records and organizing receipts.
4. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, and organizing documents.
5. Marketing Assistance: Aid in marketing efforts, such as social media management and content creation.
6. Communication: Handle email correspondence, including responding to inquiries and sending out promotional materials.
7. Cold Calling: Assist in making outbound calls to potential clients to promote our products/services.
8. Physical Tasks: Assist with loading and offloading goods as needed.
9. Payment Follow-ups: Help in tracking outstanding payments and following up with clients regarding overdue invoices.
10. General Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office space.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in an administrative or similar role preferred.
2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
3. Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office suite.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Willingness to learn and adapt to various responsibilities.
7. Physical capability to perform loading and offloading tasks.
8. Flexibility to assist in various aspects of the business as needed.
9. High school diploma or equivalent required.
