Description
The Operations Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across construction, telecom, and service divisions. This role is responsible for ensuring that all operational activities are carried out efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing cross-functional teams and multi-site operations within technical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project & Field Operations:
Supervise daily operations across construction, telecom installation, and service delivery teams.
Ensure timely execution of projects as per client requirements and contractual obligations.
Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain quality, timelines, and budget.
Monitor site performance, safety compliance, and resource allocation.
2. Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement short- and long-term operational strategies.
Plan manpower, material, and equipment needs across all business units.
Coordinate closely with project managers and engineers for smooth field operations.
3. Cross-Departmental Coordination:
Liaise with procurement, HR, finance, and HSE teams for streamlined operations.
Collaborate with business development and client servicing teams for project onboarding and handovers.
4. Financial & Performance Management:
Monitor operational budgets, control project costs, and report variances.
Generate and analyze KPIs to drive performance improvements.
Prepare monthly progress reports and dashboards for top management.
5. Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure all operations adhere to legal, regulatory, and quality standards.
Implement internal audits and enforce corrective actions where necessary.
Lead continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 7–10 years of operations management experience in construction, telecom, or related service industries.
Proven track record in managing complex technical operations and multi-site projects.
Strong knowledge of civil, electrical, or telecom field work and service processes.
Good Command in MS Excel and PowerPoint
