Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef with proven experience in hotel operations to lead the preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts and baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality standards and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present a wide range of pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked goods in line with hotel standards.
Develop new dessert menus and seasonal offerings with creativity and innovation.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation at all times.
Supervise and train junior pastry staff when required.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing for ingredients.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
Control food cost, minimize waste, and optimize production efficiency.
Ensure all equipment is used and maintained properly.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in hotels is required.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry arts, and dessert presentation.
Creativity and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
