Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company and project objectives.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.

Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.

Ensure timely delivery of construction materials, machinery, and services to project sites.

Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and alternative materials.

Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and supplier performance records.

Monitor and control procurement budgets, cost-saving measures, and compliance with financial policies.

Coordinate closely with project managers, engineering, logistics, and finance teams.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, industry standards, and local regulations.

Lead, guide, and supervise the procurement team to achieve performance targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 7 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Mandatory: Previous experience in a construction or contracting company.

Strong knowledge of procurement practices, supply chain management, and contract negotiation.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Criteria:

Nationality: Indian (preferred).

Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC construction industry.

Knowledge of local suppliers, materials, and logistics regulations in KSA is an advantage.
