Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a proven track record in the construction industry, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate will oversee procurement strategies, supplier negotiations, cost optimization, and compliance with local regulations to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support large-scale construction projects.
- Lead supplier negotiations, contracts, and vendor management to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian procurement laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage procurement budgets, risk assessment, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to align procurement with project timelines.
- Oversee tender processes, bid evaluations, and supplier performance reviews.
- Monitor market trends and identify reliable local and international suppliers.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior procurement role within the construction industry in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi procurement laws, customs, and local supplier networks.
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, and cost control.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Fluency in English, (Arabic is a plus).
