Description
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist with an Electrical Engineering qualification and hands-on experience in Saudi Aramco projects. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing and delivery of electrical materials and services in compliance with Aramco standards, project specifications, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle procurement of electrical equipment, materials, and services for Aramco and industrial projects.
Source qualified vendors and evaluate quotations as per Aramco-approved vendor lists (AVL).
Review and interpret electrical material specifications, datasheets, and technical drawings.
Prepare and issue RFQs, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements as per project timelines.
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to meet project and budget requirements.
Ensure compliance with Aramco procurement procedures, SAP codes, and quality standards.
Coordinate with engineering, project, logistics, and QA/QC teams for procurement alignment.
Track and manage material delivery schedules to avoid delays in project execution.
Maintain procurement logs, vendor database, and documentation in accordance with ISO and Aramco audit standards.
Resolve supplier issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
5+ years of experience in procurement, with a minimum of 3 years in Aramco projects
Strong knowledge of electrical materials, specifications, and vendor ecosystems in Saudi Arabia.
Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, or ERP systems and procurement tracking tools.
Understanding of Aramco procurement processes, standards, and approval protocols.
Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and project specifications.
Strong documentation and reporting abilities in Excel and MS Office.
Knowledge of incoterms, international shipping, and customs regulations (preferred).
Preferred Certifications:
Aramco Vendor Registration Knowledge (SAP Number)
PMP, CIPS, or Supply Chain certifications (advantageous)
Safety certifications (e.g., Aramco Work Permit Receiver, H2S, etc. – if applicable)
