We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee construction projects, ensure compliance with engineering specifications, and coordinate site activities to achieve project objectives.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to supervise construction works while maintaining quality, safety, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil engineering and construction activities.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, designs, specifications, and project documents.
Monitor daily site activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and project requirements.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site supervisors.
Ensure construction works comply with applicable building codes, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with specifications.
Prepare and review technical reports, progress reports, and project documentation.
Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Identify technical issues and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
Review material requirements, quantities, and technical specifications.
Assist in preparing cost estimates, material take-offs, and project budgets.
Coordinate the preparation and approval of shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Ensure proper implementation of quality control and quality assurance procedures.
Monitor the use of construction materials, equipment, and manpower to ensure efficient resource utilization.
Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress, challenges, and requirements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements at the project site.
Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Relevant experience in civil engineering and construction projects is preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles.
Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of project planning and scheduling software is an advantage.
Familiarity with quality control procedures, site inspections, and construction documentation.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage project priorities.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills

Experience in site supervision and construction project coordination.
Knowledge of cost estimation, quantity surveying, and material procurement.
Ability to prepare technical reports and project progress updates.
Familiarity with local construction regulations and approval procedures.
A valid driving license is an advantage, if required for site visits.
