Description

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of building construction projects from initiation to handover, ensuring adherence to contract requirements.

Develop, monitor, and update project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to achieve project milestones.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and key stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships.

Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of work packages and materials.

Conduct regular progress reviews and prepare detailed reports for management and stakeholders.

Manage risks, resolve site-level challenges, and implement corrective actions to avoid delays and cost overruns.

Enforce strict compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements across all project activities.

Review technical submittals, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Lead project meetings, ensuring alignment among all project participants.

Manage project variations, claims, and contract administration in collaboration with the commercial team.

Ensure timely commissioning, snag rectification, and handover of completed projects.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

10–15 years of professional experience in building construction, with a minimum of 5 years in a Project Management role.

Proven track record in managing large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

Strong knowledge of project planning, cost control, and contract administration.

Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.

Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Familiarity with FIDIC and other international contract frameworks.

GCC experience and authority approval knowledge preferred.

Valid driving license is mandatory.
