Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining quality standards across our hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure a wide range of products and services for hotel operations
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure best value
Analyze market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify savings opportunities
Manage vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance
Collaborate with various departments to understand and fulfill their procurement needs
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory
Implement and manage e-procurement systems
Assist in developing and improving procurement strategies and processes
Handle emergency purchases and troubleshoot supply chain issues

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
3-5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the hospitality industry
Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and regulations
Experience with inventory management and demand forecasting
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
IQAMA must be transferable

Preferred Skills:

Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPM)
Multilingual capabilities (English and Arabic)
Experience with sustainability initiatives in procurement
Saudi Driving License
