Hiring: Quality & Food Technology Officer

Responsibilities

- Run and develop the food safety system (HACCP)
- Act as the food facility manager with the SFDA
- Inspect incoming materials, and release or hold finished products
- Prepare the technical file for new products: specification, shelf life, label and allergens

- Prepare for certification audits and SFDA inspections
- Train staff, and manage lab testing, traceability and recalls

Requirements

- Bachelor's in Food Science/Technology, Nutrition, Microbiology or Chemistry (a food-related diploma is considered with stronger experience)
- HACCP certificate (Level 3 or above) and ISO 22000 training
- 3+ years in quality at a food manufacturing plant; desserts, bakery, dairy or chilled products preferred
- Hands-on experience building a quality system and preparing it for certification audits
- Full-time presence on site
- Written Arabic and English, and Excel
- Saudi national, or expat with a transferable iqama
