Job Summary
The Receptionist/Customer Helpdesk Officer is the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and service providers. The role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, handling resident inquiries and complaints, coordinating maintenance requests, and supporting daily front-desk operations within the residential property.
Key Responsibilities
Greet residents, visitors, and guests in a professional and courteous manner
Answer incoming calls, emails, and messages and direct them appropriately
Handle resident inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently
Log maintenance and service requests into the helpdesk system and follow up until closure
Coordinate with maintenance, security, housekeeping, and external contractors
Maintain accurate records of complaints, service requests, and visitor logs
Monitor access control, visitor registration, and issue access passes when required
Communicate property rules, policies, and notices to residents
Assist with move-in and move-out procedures
Support emergency situations by escalating issues to management or security teams
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or degree is an advantage
Previous experience as a receptionist, customer service, or helpdesk officer (property or hospitality experience preferred)
Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
Good computer skills (MS Office, email, helpdesk systems)
Customer-focused with a professional and friendly attitude
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Good organizational and time-management skills
Working Conditions
Shift-based work, including weekends and public holidays if required
