Description

We are currently seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our hotel team in Jumeirah. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests and play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests upon arrival and check them into their rooms, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.

Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to guests.

Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and take reservations accurately and efficiently.

Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.

Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including keeping brochures and promotional materials updated.

Process payments, including cash, credit card, and electronic transactions, and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift.

Coordinate with other hotel departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to fulfill guest requests and ensure a positive guest experience.

Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and data entry, as needed.

Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with hotel reservation systems is a plus.

Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to meet guest needs.

Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
