Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions and oversee end-to-end payroll operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
Department: Finance
Reporting To: Senior Executive Director
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Oversee payroll processing (salaries, overtime, deductions, benefits)
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with labor laws
Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
Coordinate with HR on employee data and compensation updates
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GOSI, and statutory requirements
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Assist in internal and external audits
Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements
Prepare financial reports and analysis for management
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5–8 years of accounting experience (with payroll exposure)
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Professional certification (SOCPA / CPA / ACCA) is preferred
