Description
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of proven experience in accounting and financial operations, and will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payments and collections
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow on a daily basis
• Prepare VAT reports and ensure tax compliance with Bahrain’s regulatory requirements
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and inspections
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date accounting system and documentation
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
• Support payroll processing and employee benefit accounting
• Monitor inventory accounting and fixed asset management if applicable
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience (preferably in Bahrain)
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books
• Excellent knowledge of Bahrain’s tax laws and financial regulations
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
• Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Preferably holds a CPA, CMA, ACCA, or other relevant certification (optional but a strong advantage)
