Mawarid Trading Bahrain is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with evolving GCC financial and tax regulations, while supporting core accounting functions across the trading business.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory controlling and costing / Physical Inventory
Accounts receivables and payables management
Revenue accounting and reconciliation
Credit Control
VAT compliance and reporting in line with Bahrain and GCC-wide regulations
Ensure alignment with updated GCC tax frameworks including VAT grouping, reverse charge mechanisms, and customs measures
MS Dynamics experience is a plus

Candidate Profile:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting/Finance
Strong understanding of GCC financial and tax regulations, including VAT and Excise Tax
Proficiency in accounting systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Preferably past experience in retail accounting.
