We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Senior/Chief Accountant to lead our finance operations.

This is a pivotal role for a seasoned professional looking to take full ownership of our accounting department, drive financial compliance, and streamline operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The Role
You will serve as the financial backbone of our organization, responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring rigorous tax compliance, and providing the strategic oversight necessary to support our growth.

Candidate Requirements

Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional accounting experience, with significant tenure in the Restaurant or Hospitality sector.
Age: 30–37 years old.
Visa Status: Must possess a transferable iqama.
Expertise:
Accounts Receivable (AR) Lifecycle: Demonstrated success in managing daily sales report (DSR) monitoring from POS systems, reconciling credit card deposits, and managing settlements from third-party delivery platforms.
Financial Operations: Deep proficiency in General Ledger management, bank reconciliations, and executing accurate, timely month-end closes.
Compliance: Comprehensive knowledge of VAT and WHT filing, end-to-end audit readiness, and integration of POS systems with accounting software.

Core Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management: Lead the accounts department, delegate daily workflows, and provide mentorship to junior staff to ensure operational efficiency.
Financial Control: Oversee all journal entries, maintain General Ledger integrity, and implement robust internal controls.
Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Take full ownership of all VAT and WHT filings and serve as the primary point of contact for external audits.
Strategy & Reporting: Drive process improvements to streamline accounting workflows and deliver accurate financial reporting to support executive decision-making.
