Description

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities, ensuring accurate records and timely financial reporting and adherence to Group reporting requirement and timeline.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and preparation of financial statements.
Support budgeting and financial analysis for management review and operational decision-making.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and Other Saudi regulatory requirements.
Assist in improving financial systems, processes, and internal controls to support efficient finance operations.

Accounts Payable
Manage accounts payable processing for suppliers and subcontractors.
Ensure invoices are properly verified, approved, and processed in line with company procedures and procurement documentation.
Coordinate payment schedules and maintain accurate supplier account records.
Work closely with procurement and project teams to ensure smooth payment operations.
Ensure proper payment documentation and verification, including alignment with purchase orders, contracts, delivery confirmations, and approval procedures.

Treasury
Monitor company cash flow and support preparation of cash flow forecasts.
Coordinate payments for suppliers, subcontractors, and operational expenses.
Maintain relationships with banks and support management of banking facilities including guarantees, performance bonds, and credit lines.
Monitor receivables and coordinate with relevant teams to support collections and maintain healthy working capital.

Team & Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Lead performance management and development of direct and indirect reports.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA is an advantage.
Minimum of 8 years of financial reporting experience in construction or project-based industries.
Experienced accounting systems implementation.
Familiarity with Saudi financial and regulatory requirements, including VAT (ZATCA), withholding tax, VAT filing, and e-invoicing requirements.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with operational teams.
Strong understanding of construction contract structures and project financial controls
Banking and treasury related experience
Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic language skills are an advantage.
