Senior Manager of Projects Control, the core purpose of the role is to provide strategic oversight and leadership in the effective management of projects within the organization.
Focused on business needs, the responsibilities include ensuring that projects are meticulously planned, executed within allocated budgets, and aligned with overarching organizational goals.
The role extends to implementing robust cost control measures, managing project budgets, and mitigating potential risks to ensure seamless project delivery.
Regular monitoring and reporting on project performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) are central, facilitating transparent communication with stakeholders.
Resource allocation, both in terms of personnel and materials, is a priority, aiming for optimal efficiency in project execution. Quality assurance is integral, as rigorous standards and compliance with organizational policies are upheld, with regular audits to ensure adherence.
Clear and timely communication with diverse stakeholders, including project teams, senior management, and clients, is a focal point.
Additionally, the role involves identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within the project management framework, learning from experiences to enhance future project performance.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans for effective project management aligned with the organization's objectives.
2. Manage project budgets, ensuring accurate financial forecasting, cost control, and adherence to allocated resources.
3. Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with projects to ensure successful delivery.
4. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress and ensure timely completion.
5. Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, time, and materials, to maximize project outcomes.
6. Uphold and enforce rigorous quality standards, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
7. Foster clear and transparent communication with project teams, senior management, clients, and other relevant stakeholders.
8. Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
9. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the project management framework, learning from experiences to enhance future project performance.
10. Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to update senior management and stakeholders on project status, issues, and achievements.
11. Oversee contracts related to projects, ensuring compliance and managing relationships with external vendors or partners.
12. Ensure projects are delivered on time, meeting deadlines and milestones outlined in project plans.
13. Ensure projects comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
14. Address and resolve issues that may arise during project execution, maintaining a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
15. Facilitate the transfer of knowledge and best practices among project teams, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
