Job Purpose:

The Storekeeper/Warehouse is responsible for efficiently managing and organizing the storage, inventory, and distribution of goods within the warehouse. This role ensures the accurate tracking of stock, assists in receiving and dispatching shipments, maintains a clean and safe storage environment, and supports the overall supply chain operations. The storekeeper is key in maintaining inventory accuracy, assisting with order fulfillment, and ensuring that all warehouse processes are conducted in compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Accurately track and maintain inventory levels, ensuring stock is properly organized and easily accessible.

Receiving & Dispatching Goods: Oversee the receiving process for incoming shipments and ensure accurate documentation. Manage the dispatch process to ensure timely and correct delivery of goods.

Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and delivery timelines.

Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of goods.

Warehouse Organization: Maintain an orderly and safe warehouse environment, ensuring that products are stored efficiently and all safety protocols are adhered to.

Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and stock adjustments. Generate regular inventory reports for management review.

Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff, logistics teams, and management to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Previous experience in warehouse or inventory management is a plus, though not mandatory. Entry-level candidates may be considered with relevant academic qualifications.

Skills:

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.

Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Proactive, with the ability to solve problems independently.

Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting and manual labor.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
