Description

Role Summary:

The Supply Specialist at SHDH Logistics is responsible for ensuring a steady acquisition, onboarding, and performance optimization of drivers while managing fleet control on the ground. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining fleet availability, efficiency, and service quality for food delivery operations, specifically with Hungerstation.

Key Responsibilities:

Driver Acquisition & Onboarding

• Develop and execute driver recruitment strategies to meet fleet expansion targets.
• Screen and onboard car and motorcycle drivers, ensuring compliance with SHDH policies.
• Assist in the training and orientation of newly hired drivers.
• Ensure all drivers have the necessary permits, documents, and equipment before deployment.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

• Track daily driver performance, including order completion rate, availability, and response times.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and adherence to schedules.
• Identify underperforming drivers and work with the operations team to implement improvement plans.
• Support the development of incentive programs to boost driver motivation and retention.

Fleet Control & Ground Operations

• Ensure real-time tracking of active drivers using the SHDH Fleet App.
• Coordinate with field supervisors to monitor driver activity and resolve on-ground issues.
• Address emergency situations such as breakdowns, delays, or driver-related complaints.
• Work closely with logistics teams to optimize route planning and minimize idle time.

Reporting & Coordination

• Maintain and update driver databases with real-time information.
• Generate daily and weekly reports on fleet performance and acquisition progress.
• Collaborate with HR, operations, and finance teams to align fleet supply with business needs.
• Act as a key liaison between drivers and management, ensuring smooth communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in logistics, fleet management, or driver recruitment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for driver engagement.
• Proficiency in fleet tracking systems, SHDH Fleet App, and Excel for reporting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Problem-solving mindset to handle on-ground challenges efficiently.
