A reputable educational institution is seeking qualified and caring candidates for the position of Teacher Assistant.

The role involves supporting teachers with classroom activities, assisting students with their learning and development, and helping maintain a safe, positive, and organized learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the teacher with daily classroom activities and learning sessions.
Support students individually and in small groups under the teacher’s guidance.
Help prepare teaching materials, worksheets, classroom displays, and learning resources.
Assist students with reading, writing, activities, and assigned classroom work.
Supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, lunch, and other school activities.
Encourage positive behavior, cooperation, confidence, and independent learning.
Support students who require additional assistance with their learning.
Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
Assist with setting up and organizing classroom equipment and materials.
Observe students’ participation and provide relevant feedback to the teacher.
Assist the teacher with basic classroom records and administrative tasks.
Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and school matters.
Follow school policies related to child safeguarding, safety, security, and wellbeing.
Participate in school activities, meetings, and training programs when required.
Perform other duties related to classroom support as assigned by the teacher or school management.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience working with children or in a school environment is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, caring, responsible, and child-friendly personality.
Ability to work effectively with teachers and students.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to support students with different learning needs.
Basic computer skills are an advantage.
Good English communication skills.
Freshers with relevant educational qualifications may also be considered.
