Description
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and test CCTV systems (IP cameras, NVR/DVR, video analytics).
Perform installation of telecom infrastructure (fiber optics, structured cabling, racks, patch panels).
Handle cable laying, termination, splicing, and labeling.
Conduct testing & commissioning of systems (signal testing, camera alignment, network connectivity).
Troubleshoot faults in CCTV and telecom networks (camera failure, connectivity issues, signal loss).
Support integration with network systems, access control, and security platforms.
Read and execute based on drawings, layouts, and BOQ.
Ensure compliance with safety standards (especially in Aramco or industrial sites).
Provide maintenance support and periodic inspections.
Technical Skills Required
Knowledge of IP CCTV systems (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Pelco ).
Understanding of networking basics (IP addressing, switches, routers).
Experience with fiber optic tools (OTDR, splicing machine).
Familiarity with telecom equipment (ODF, MDF, patch panels).
Ability to use testing tools (multimeter, cable tester, LAN tester).
Basic knowledge of DWDM / telecom systems (preferred for advanced roles).
Qualifications
Diploma / ITI in Electronics, Telecom, or related field.
Certifications (preferred but optional):
CCTV / Security Systems Certification
Fiber Optic Technician certification
Experience
2–5 years in telecom or CCTV installation projects.
Experience in oil & gas / industrial projects (Aramco preferred in KSA).
