A busy transportation operation in Dubai offers an opportunity for a responsible Transport Supervisor to oversee vehicle movements, coordinate drivers, and keep daily transportation activities organized, safe, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily transportation activities and vehicle movements.
Allocate vehicles and drivers according to operational requirements.
Prepare and monitor daily routes, schedules, and assignments.
Maintain regular communication with drivers throughout their shifts.
Track vehicle departures, arrivals, deliveries, and route progress.
Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and operations teams regarding transportation requirements.
Monitor driver attendance, punctuality, and adherence to assigned schedules.
Ensure vehicles are properly checked and available for daily operations.
Report breakdowns, accidents, delays, traffic issues, or other transportation problems.
Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repair requirements.
Maintain records of vehicle usage, fuel, mileage, trips, and driver activities.
Investigate routine delivery or transportation issues and arrange appropriate solutions.
Ensure drivers follow UAE traffic regulations and company safety procedures.
Prepare daily transportation reports and provide operational updates to management.
Support improvements in route planning, vehicle utilization, and overall transport efficiency.
Requirements
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in transportation, fleet, logistics, or delivery operations is an advantage.
Supervisory or team-coordination experience is preferred.
Freshers with relevant qualifications and strong organizational skills may also apply.
Good understanding of vehicle scheduling and transportation operations.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and transportation documentation.
Ability to manage drivers and multiple assignments effectively.
Good knowledge of Dubai roads and routes is an advantage.
Ability to remain organized during busy operational periods.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, or holidays when required.
UAE/GCC transportation experience is an advantage.
