Description
We are seeking warehouse coordinator for our long term project in Yanbu (SABIC).
Job Responsibility:
• Determines number of workers and equipment required to load or unload materials and containers, using information obtained from the loading orders, other shipping records, and personal experience.
• Examines each Pallets quantity, grade, lot number and quality.
• Gives instructions to forklift operators to load the pallets into the trucks or containers according to the loading instructions.
• Records description of each item of loading and number of Truck/containers in which it is loaded.
• Compares items of freight loaded or unloaded with the loading order or other shipping records to ensure that all freight is routed to specified destination.
• Ensuring Compliance with Customer's Special-Order Instructions.
• Compliance with Load Sealing Procedures.
• Compliance with all other Existing or Future SSHEQ Policies as Related to Shipping/Receiving Operations and Providing Leadership to Drive Continuous Quality Improvement.
• Minimization of Scrap, Waste, or Rework from Shipping, Receiving, and Warehousing Operations.
• Maintaining Warehouse Housekeeping and Minimization of Finished Product Damage by loading operators.
• Ensuring that Loading operators Follow Proper Stock Rotation Practices.
• Pre-shift inspections on Forklifts and all other mobile equipment.
• Supporting the Area Coordination Process by Assisting in the Prioritization of Maintenance Work for the daily or Weekly Schedule in Area of Responsibility.
• Ensuring Equipment is Available for Scheduled PM and Maintenance Work.
• Ensuring that Operating Procedures are followed, and those Operators are Properly Trained.
• Ensure periodical physical inventory of finished product stored in open and closed warehouse.
• Communicating Production, Quality, & EHS Issues to other Shifts through Shift-Handoff Meeting.
• Assists in Shift, Vacation, and Overtime Scheduling.
• Submit the required daily, weekly, and yearly operational reports as per the company management requests.
• Make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
• Meet customer and company KPI’s and SLA’s on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
• Participate in Spark Program and generate any ideas to enhance the operations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Demonstrates SSHEQ leadership by always performing work tasks as a role model for BBS and demonstrates practical knowledge of the Instructions procedures of Operation.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions.
