Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Joinery Wooden Factory Manager to oversee the daily operations of our joinery production facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and joinery, coupled with excellent managerial and leadership skills. As the Joinery Wooden Factory Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating production processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and managing a team of skilled craftsmen.

Responsibilities:

Production Management:

• Plan, organize, and oversee the production process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality joinery wooden, and Customised interior products.
• Implement and maintain efficient production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
• Quality Control:

• Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.

• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to identify and address any defects or issues.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate a team of skilled joinery, and other craftsmen, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Provide guidance, training, and feedback to enhance the skills and performance of the production team.

Resource Management:

• Manage and optimize the use of raw materials, equipment, and manpower to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure a consistent and cost-effective supply chain.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols within the factory to create a secure working environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Design Communication:

• Collaborate closely with the Design & Setting Out Team to meet client requirements effectively.
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and production drawings for a comprehensive understanding of project specifications.
• Generate samples in accordance with client requirements, ensuring alignment with design expectations.
• Engage closely with the Interior Project Manager, adhering to project management standards to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a joinery or woodworking environment.
• In-depth knowledge of joinery techniques, woodworking machinery, and materials.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in woodworking & paper, engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
