Job Purpose

To supervise and manage all yard operations activities including inbound, outbound, vehicle movement, space utilization, dispatch coordination, safety compliance, and operational KPI achievement while ensuring smooth day-to-day yard activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily yard operations including inbound, outbound, loading, unloading, and vehicle movements.
• Ensure operational activities are completed within agreed SLA/KPI timelines.
• Monitor yard space utilization and coordinate movement prioritization.
• Coordinate dispatch planning and vehicle handling activities.
• Ensure proper inspection and damage reporting procedures are followed.
• Maintain operational reports, trackers, and dashboards.
• Supervise yard manpower, attendance, and productivity.
• Ensure safety compliance and housekeeping standards within the yard.
• Coordinate with transporters, PDI teams, warehouse teams, and customers.
• Support management in achieving operational and customer service targets.

Requirements

• Experience in logistics, warehouse, or yard operations.
• Knowledge of vehicle and dispatch operations.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office and warehouse systems preferred.
• Ability to manage manpower and operations under pressure
