Storage Admin
 Performing daily storage operational tasks such as provisioning, storage connectivity, storage
allocation, incident, problem management and implementation of changes to the storage
operational infrastructure.
 Implementation and Administration of different storage frames PowerMax, VMAX, Vplex,
Recover Point.
 Configuration of SAN switches from Brocade and Cisco: Creating Vlan, assigning Domain id,
configuring ISL’s, performing zoning, taking configuration backup and troubleshooting issues.
 Managing FAST tiers. Associating/Disassociating Storage groups with FAST policies.
 Documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for implementing any change related with
provisioning, zoning, migration etc.
 Following ITIL guidelines for any changes. Raising RFCs for implementing any changes related
with storage migration, provisioning, decommissioning, zone creation or removal, attending CAB
meetings to get these RFCs approved and implementing changes during the change window.
 Setting up local and remote replication using Timefinder and SRDF.
