I do have over 18 years of Protection programing, management of Gender Based Violence especially by Systems straigthening, Child Protection in both development and in emergency situations and Livelihoods program work experience in both emergency and development contexts. I have 3 years experience working for government and 15 years working for International Non Governmental Organizations including Plan International, USAID RHITES E, PACE and Medair International. I do have 4 years of field level project implementation and over 14 years of senior management experience of children, women and the excluded population projects in both conflict and post conflict communities. I do have a Bachelors’ degree in Development Studies from Mbarara University plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute as well as short-term certificate trainings that include but not limited to; Human Right Based Approach of Programming, Child participation in Development, Child protection, Child protection in Emergency situations, Gender Based Violence and Quality Assurance Tool Assessor Training.

Over the last 18 years of working with refugees, Internally diplaced persons, host communities and post conflict communities, I have attained experience in project planning, implementation and management especially delivering complex country/regional level integrated programs for the refugee and the host communities. This job will give me an opportunity to further grow my professional career in this line. My availability to take up this job is another reason, my current contract ends at the end of this December 2022.I am experienced in financial management including building a budget, monitoring and managing program expenditures as well as experience in compiling financial and quality narrative reports to donors and experience of negotiation and maintenance of external stakeholders/partners/donors’ relations. I have leadership and experience of developing, coaching and managing high performing teams. I have knowledge and skills in data collection and analysis for decision making with experience in the usage of Microsoft 365/share points teams, outlook, excel with good power point presentation skills. I have good skills and knowledge of both human resources, assets and administrative management as well as working in situations that require taking Swift decisions, including in a high-risk areas of conflicts with skills in the usage of radio calls and operations in the emergency situations. I have experience in implementing country/regional level programs. I am good at management of startup and phase out of programs, usage of Log Frame Approach in planning and implementing programs funded by donors (USAID, ECHO, UKAID, DFID, SIDA)
