Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Compliance Officer (HR) to ensure adherence to Bahrain Labour Law and internal HR policies. The ideal candidate must be currently based in Bahrain, available for immediate joining, and experienced in monitoring HR compliance, regulatory requirements, and employment practices.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure company HR policies and practices comply with Bahrain Labour Law and regulatory requirements
Monitor and audit HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations
Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
Conduct internal audits and risk assessments related to HR operations
Advise management on legal and compliance risks in employment practices
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary procedures, and investigations in line with legal requirements
Liaise with government authorities and external auditors when required
Maintain accurate compliance records, documentation, and reports
Provide training and guidance to HR teams and managers on compliance matters
Requirements
Currently residing in Bahrain and available for immediate joining
Proven experience as a Compliance Officer, HR Compliance Specialist, or similar role
Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Bahrain Labour Law and employment regulations
Experience in HR audits, policy development, and risk management
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications in HR or compliance (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or compliance certifications)
Experience working with government entities and labor-related systems in Bahrain
Background in legal compliance or corporate governance
