Description
A leading company in the FMCG sector is looking for a qualified Birds Live Weight Specialist to join our broiler production team.
Key Responsibilities:
Weight Monitoring & Control
Conduct daily / weekly bird weighing across all houses
Ensure sampling accuracy and consistency
Track average body weight & weight uniformity (%)
Compare actual weight vs. Ross / Cobb standards
Performance Analysis
Analyze weight gain trends, feed intake vs. growth & FCR
Identify deviations early (underweight / overweight)
Highlight risks affecting target live weight
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Animal Production / Poultry Science / Veterinary Medicine
3–5 years of experience in broiler production
Required Skills:
Strong data analysis skills
Good understanding of broiler growth curves (Ross / Cobb)
Knowledge of feed programs
Field-oriented mindset
Communication & coordination skills
