Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Field Coordinator to join our operations team. The successful candidate will coordinate on-site activities, manage equipment logistics, and serve as the primary liaison between clients, site teams, and the operations office. Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a distinct advantage for this role, as it facilitates smooth communication with our Chinese-speaking project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily on-site activities for equipment rental operations, including mobilization and demobilization of manpower and equipment

Act as the central point of contact between clients, site teams, drivers, workshop technicians, and the rental desk

Monitor equipment utilization, availability, and maintenance schedules; ensure preventive maintenance is completed on time

Patrol and inspect site premises, facilities, and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition; report and follow up on repair needs

Maintain accurate records of work orders, service history, equipment hours, and downtime reports

Handle daily communication with clients, suppliers, and vendors regarding delivery schedules and service requirements

Prepare rental reports, timesheets, invoices, and operational documentation

Ensure all personnel certifications, equipment documentation, and validity/renewal dates are current and properly maintained

Coordinate transportation, accommodation, and site requirements for field staff

Maintain proper records of rental agreements, operational documents, and inventory lists

Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and safety procedures; identify and report any Health, Safety, or Environmental risks

Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Previous experience (3–5 years preferred) in equipment rental coordination, site coordination, or heavy equipment projects

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction, oil & gas, or heavy lift industries is preferred

Language Skills:

English: Required (good communication skills, both written and verbal)

Chinese (Mandarin): Highly advantageous – will be a significant plus for the role

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with rental/ERP systems is a plus

Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills; ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure; excellent attention to detail

Education: Diploma or technical background preferred
