Accountant job responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements and reports, managing budgets and cash flow, conducting audits, performing tax planning, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Core Responsibilities
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and complete financial records, including managing the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting various financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for internal and external stakeholders.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing, monitoring, and managing budgets and performing financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
Auditing: Performing internal audits to assess financial operations, identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy.
Taxation: Preparing tax returns, ensuring tax compliance, and providing tax planning services.
Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
