Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support the financial operations of our fleet tracking and telematics business. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, supporting billing and revenue recognition for subscription-based services, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and local Saudi regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records in line with IFRS and company policies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, including customer invoicing for fleet tracking services and device sales
• Monitor subscription billing, contract revenue, and deferred revenue
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews
• Support VAT accounting, filings, and compliance as per Saudi regulations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for operations and projects
• Coordinate with operations and technical teams on asset capitalization (tracking devices, installations, SIM costs)
• Support internal and external audits
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3–5 years of accounting experience (telecom, technology, or service-based business preferred)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi VAT regulations
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fleet management, telematics, telecom, or subscription-based businesses
• Professional certification (ACCA, CMA, CPA – part-qualified or qualified is an advantage)
• Ability to speak and understand Arabic is a strong advantage
