Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Dammam for an Accountant at FIRST SUPPLY TRADING CO. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks such as managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications

Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Analysis skills
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
Proficiency in accounting software
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. More over, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

Analyzes and interprets information necessary to accurately report the company’s tax position

Liaison with local CPA firms to prepare timely and accurate tax filings for all entities

Ability to research tax law and rulings as necessary

Ensures compliance with applicable jurisdictional regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures

Maintains current knowledge of relationships between company accounting records and tax reporting requirements

Reconciliation of tax related general ledger accounts

Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close

Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes

Research and analyze expense variances for company management

Requirements

3+ years of accounting experience including working knowledge of tax law and codes

Excellent English verbal, written, and presentation skills

Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, and problem solving

Demonstrate strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs

Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to develop ad hoc and standard reporting

Professional command of English and Arabic, both written and verbal
