Description
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), and maintain accurate financial records. The role includes managing accounts payable, preparing financial statements, monitoring internal controls, and supporting audits.
Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain accurate accounting records in line with KSA regulations and company policies
-Prepare financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
-Handle full accounts payable cycle (invoice verification, posting, payments, reconciliation)
-Monitor and review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
-Perform regular account reconciliations (bank, supplier, and ledger accounts)
-Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports
-Ensure compliance with ZATCA (tax and VAT regulations in KSA)
-Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
-Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial records
-Monitor internal controls and report any discrepancies or risks
-Prepare periodic reports and management summaries (including second-level review statements if required)
-Coordinate payroll entries and expense tracking
Security & Compliance Responsibilities:
-Ensure confidentiality and security of financial data and records
-Follow company policies related to financial control and risk management
-Monitor transactions for irregularities or potential fraud
-Adhere strictly to local laws, VAT regulations, and corporate governance standards
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards
-Familiarity with VAT, Zakat, and KSA compliance requirements
-Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
-Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
-Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
-Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
-Experience working with government platforms (e.g., ZATCA portal)
-Knowledge of internal controls and audit processes
