Looking for Bahraini male and female assistant cooks for care centre.

Required qualification: High school diploma

Required experience: One year experience in food preparation and working in kitchens and training courses in nutrition for the elderly and children.

Job duties and skills required

Cleaning utensils, appliances, carts, walls and floors of the kitchen and storeroom after each cooking process.
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of food, work area, cooking utensils and appliances on a daily basis.
Follow the correct methods for washing, cleaning and preparing vegetables, salads and fruits.
Cleaning rice, grains, legumes, etc. and preparing them for cooking.
Assist in packing and distributing food containers in food carts.
Delivering food carts from the kitchen to the sites of the elderly, disabled and children on time, checking their contents and returning them after completion
Maintaining the health and safety of all kitchen equipment and knowing how to use it correctly.
Dispose of food waste in a healthy way in designated places.
Adhere to personal hygiene, food hygiene and safety guidelines while working.
Assist in preparing meals, coffee, tea, juice and desserts.
Preparing hot and cold drinks for the elderly/disabled/children and guests
Preparing trays and special dishes for the three main meals.
Performs the tasks assigned within the scope of work.
